This short WoW strategy guide will give both Horde and Alliance players valuable tips to play more efficiently. All of these tips can be applied by both Horde and Alliance players.
Play your character rested whenever possible.
The reason for doing this is that in the rested state quests award you double the experience points. By building up your toon’s rested bonus to the maximum level over a couple of days, you can potentially finish several quests and gain the double XP bonus the whole time. There’s no point in wasting time if you don’t have to and the rested bonus will really boost your leveling speed.
Green quests are your objective.
They are relatively easy and offer the best bang for the buck. You will tend to get killed more often if you attempt to do quests rated yellow or greater. Your armor will incur more damage, and that means more time wasted as you dash back to a town to repair.
When leveling up, avoid instances.
Though the loot may be great, the truth is you will not be leveling in an instance as quickly as you would on a normal quest or two in the same amount of time.
Do multiple quests at the same time.
Grab all the offered quests you can locate when first entering a zone. Try to group quests together that finish in the same location. Just take a look at the quest details. Going back and forth between areas for quests is a nuisance and this method will save you a lot a time and aggravation.
Travel to other zones. If you have finished all the easier quests in your own race’s starting areas, don’t be afraid to go all over the map to get those easy green quests. The bonus experience from completing so many quests quickly will make you a power leveler before you know it.
